LED headlamp bulb, British Pre Focus fitting with defined beam that is focused by it’s own integral lens. The bright focused beam stands out better than traditional bulbs and may help to increase visibility to other traffic.
The power required is so little that lights can be used all the time and the battery will stay charged, even if you have a dynamo.
A small alan key is supplied so that the beam can be leveled if required. The bezel can be rotated to ensure high beam appears above the low beam.
These LEDs transform your evening and night time riding experience and improve your visiblity to other traffic.
Suitable for both positive and negative earth 6, 12 and 24 volt. If you later decide to convert a 6 volt machine to 12 volts you carry on using the same bulbs.
- White 4300 kelvin light that looks crisp and sharp like modern car headlamps.
- Suitable for positive AND negative earth, 6, 12 and 24 volt operation.
- A projector type lens gives a properly focused beam in any headlamp reflector
- There are two beams, low which is complimented by an additional beam when ‘high’ is selected.
- The metal bezel rotates to ensure the high beam always appears level above the low beam. Allen key is supplied for adjustment.
Important Information
Motorcycles with 6 volt alternators: A solid state regulator rectifier unit must be fitted.
Most dynamo systems have voltage regulation as standard. There is no requirement to replace a correctly functioning mechanical voltage regulator.
6 Volt operation: LED will not operate below 5.5 volts, so this unit will not illuminate if the battery is at 25% or lower state of charge on a 6V system. Filament bulbs only glow and will fail to provide a useable beam at this voltage.
Not suitable where a shade is mounted centrally inside the headlamp glass – the shade will block the beam.
