Rex’s improved regulator rectifier For Yamaha XV535, XV700, XV750, XV1000 XV1100 Virago V-Max 1200  1988-95 models.

Many problems with this specific unit are due to poor earthing, which can lead to over charging, charging low charge and even ignition unit failure. Our replacement features an additional earthing wire to reduce the possibility of earth faults. Simple to connect, the new wire connects to the bike’s  main earth point and the regulator’s case and will ensure a good earth path.
