DT250 | DT360 | DT400 12 Volt Lighting Conversion

This kit does not improve, replace or up-grade the ignition – it only converts the lights to 12 volts.

12 volt lighting  up-grade for DT250, DT360 & DT400 1974-1979.

Also fits our electronic ignitions: RMK6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 supplied without 12 volt lighting and battery charging.

Yamaha changed the original generators many times using a variaty of different windings as the technology developed. We have produced one 12 volt winding that fits all and is powerful enough to improve the lighting.

This kit is given an expert rating as the generator has to be modified, this requires considerable skill and knowledge. A full guide is included to aid those with suffiecent experience to carry out such work.

Contains a 12 volt lighting coil, voltage regulator, regulator loom, hardware and terminations to convert the charging & lighting system to supply 12 volts.

Bulbs and 12v parts are available separately in accessory packs which cost less than buying the parts individually.
