12 volt Roadster ignition for DT250 Mono shock models with points ignition.
Modern up-graded ignition with 12 volt lighting to replace the standard 6 volt points system on DT250D & E 1977- 78 models. Increased performance through modern dynamic timing curve over the standard fixed points ignition. New billet stator bolts on with minimum effort and no fiddling about with timing – fit and go. Electrics plug in to the stock Yamaha electrical system (requires standard, un-modified Yamaha wiring loom).

This kit simple to install we’ve taken away all the guess work from timing and set up. The 12 volt kits plug directly in to standard wiring looms, no crimping or wiring to stock Yamaha wiring needed. You won’t even need a timing light!

The kit contains; a new 12 volt stator and ignition source coil, 12 volt lighting coil, electronic ignition unit, new HT coil, voltage regulator & fitting manual.
