The company works closely with its suppliers and logistics partners to minimise disruption and ensure that any delay is kept to an absolute minimum.

We recommend contacting your local customs office for current information before placing an order. Returns Policy
Customers resident in the United Kingdom have the right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.
This right allows you to inspect the goods in the same way as you would if purchasing in a physical store.
IMPORTANT
Once an item has been fitted, installed, or otherwise used, the right to cancel no longer applies.
If you wish to return an item, you must do so within 14 days of notifying us of your intention to cancel. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. All returned items must be undamaged, unmarked, and in a re-saleable condition.
Refunds will be issued promptly and no later than 14 days after the returned goods are received by us, using the same payment method originally used for the purchase.
We reserve the right to make a deduction from the refund if returned goods show signs of use, damage, or handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, or function, or if goods are not received.
Exemptions to the Right to Return Your Order
Customers residing outside the United Kingdom are not entitled to cancel or return goods under UK consumer legislation. Local consumer laws may apply within your own country.
The right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply to:

Items where a security seal has been removed or broken. For safety reasons, these items cannot be returned. This includes ignition units and any other parts that may affect the safe operation or performance of a motorcycle.
Goods purchased in person, whether at our business premises or at a trade show, exhibition, or event where the customer has the opportunity to inspect the goods before purchase. In such cases, returns are not covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations. However, we may, at our discretion, accept returns on a case-by-case basis.

Note: Certain products are non-returnable by law for safety or hygiene reasons.
Shortages and Incorrectly Supplied Goods
All shortages or missing items should be reported to us within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. The courier’s dated delivery confirmation will be used to determine when this period begins. While we will always do our best to assist, failure to report a shortage within this timeframe may limit our ability to investigate or resolve the issue.
Any incorrectly supplied items must be reported within 14 days of receipt of goods. The courier’s dated delivery confirmation will again be used to determine when this period begins. Incorrectly supplied items will be replaced at our cost, provided we are notified within the stated timescale and the items are returned in unused condition.

Powder Mill Electronics Ltd guarantees to repair or replace, free of charge, any goods found to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within 30 days from the date of dispatch. If an item is suspected to be faulty, it must be returned to the company for inspection so that the fault can be confirmed.
All new, repaired, and reconditioned products supplied by Powder Mill Electronics Ltd are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date shown on the original purchase invoice. The warranty period is fixed and calendar-based; it begins on the date of the original invoice and is not extended or renewed by any subsequent repair or replacement.
This warranty does not apply to goods that have been:
damaged through incorrect installation or inexpert fitment;
used on a vehicle with existing or latent faults that have contributed to the failure;
incorrectly adjusted, modified, or used for a purpose other than that intended; or
subjected to abuse, neglect, or conditions beyond the product’s specification.
Customers within the United Kingdom are entitled under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to request a refund within 30 days of purchase if the goods fail to meet their description, are not of satisfactory quality, or are not fit for purpose. Where returned items are found to meet specification and function correctly, this statutory right does not apply.
Items that have been tested and declared serviceable are not covered by warranty. Such tests provide an indication of condition at the time of testing only, and no guarantee of continued serviceability is expressed or implied.
This warranty is an agreement between Powder Mill Electronics Ltd and the customer named on the original invoice. It is non-transferable. If a vehicle is subsequently sold, the warranty is deemed to have expired. A copy of the original invoice must be provided for any warranty claim, and proof of identity may be required.
Powder Mill Electronics Ltd reserves the right to recover reasonable costs incurred where a warranty claim is found to result from inaccurate diagnosis or improper troubleshooting of a vehicle system.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Warranty and Returns from Outside the United Kingdom
Before returning any item under warranty, you must contact Powder Mill Electronics Ltd to obtain authorisation and return instructions.
If a return is agreed, the customs declaration form (CN22 or CN23) must be clearly completed as follows:
Description of goods: “Item returned to supplier under warranty”
Country of origin: United Kingdom
Declared value: Less than 10 USD / EUR
A copy of the original purchase invoice must be included with the return to confirm the item’s origin and warranty eligibility.
Failure to complete the customs paperwork correctly may result in significant delays, and in some cases, the goods may not reach us until the documentation is corrected. Any fees, taxes, or customs charges arising from incorrect or incomplete paperwork will be charged to the customer.
Warranty claims cannot be processed until the returned goods have been received and inspected by the company. Powder Mill Electronics Ltd accepts no responsibility for delays or additional charges resulting from errors in completing customs forms or shipping documentation.
Limited Liability
All warranty claims are limited to the original purchase price of the product or service supplied.
The buyer assumes full responsibility for any risks or losses arising from incorrect installation, setup, or adjustment of the product, or from faults in the vehicle or associated equipment.
Powder Mill Electronics Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including (but not limited to) labour charges, transportation costs, or loss of use.
Where a buyer instructs a third party to install or handle parts supplied by Powder Mill Electronics Ltd, all liability for the cost of that work or any resulting issues rests solely with the person or entity issuing such instructions.
By purchasing from Powder Mill Electronics Ltd, the buyer acknowledges and accepts these terms.

UK Sales Tax (VAT) and Import Duties
Customers with delivery addresses outside the United Kingdom will not be charged UK Value Added Tax (VAT). Our website automatically removes VAT from your order once a valid non-UK delivery address is entered.
Please note that the billing and delivery addresses must be in the same country. Use of VPNs, location-hiding software, or high-security browser settings may prevent successful checkout.
Customers should be aware that import duties, taxes, and handling fees may be charged by customs authorities in the destination country. Powder Mill Electronics Ltd is legally required to include a Customs Declaration and a detailed shipping invoice with all international shipments.
We are unable to provide quotations or estimates for import duties, taxes, or clearance costs beyond the shipping fee shown at checkout. Customers are advised to contact their local customs office for information about applicable charges before placing an order.
Powder Mill Electronics Ltd has no control over import duties or fees levied by customs authorities and cannot be held responsible for any such charges.
Force Majeure
Powder Mill Electronics Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or delay arising from a Force Majeure event. In such circumstances, the company may suspend or cancel all or part of any delivery or order affected. The company will endeavour to notify the customer as soon as reasonably practicable if a Force Majeure event occurs.
If a Force Majeure event prevents the company from fulfilling its contractual obligations, it may, without limiting its other rights or remedies, cancel the contract in whole or in part by giving reasonable written or verbal notice to the customer.
For the purposes of this clause, a Force Majeure event means any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the company, including but not limited to:
outbreaks of disease or pandemic;
strikes, lock-outs, or other industrial disputes (whether involving the company’s workforce or that of a third party);
failure of utility services or transport networks;
acts of God, war, riot, civil commotion, or malicious damage;
compliance with any law, regulation, or governmental order;
accident, fire, flood, storm, or other natural disaster;
breakdown of plant or machinery;
inability to obtain materials or components except at increased cost; or
default of suppliers, subcontractors, or agents.
Installation and Fitting of Parts
All goods are supplied on the understanding that they will be installed by a qualified and competent person, using the latest version of the original manufacturer’s service manual and any relevant service bulletins, together with the correct tools and test equipment as specified by the machine’s manufacturer.
Before operating any vehicle or machinery in which new or repaired parts have been fitted—whether on road, off road, or under competition conditions—it is the responsibility of the installer to ensure that all parts have been correctly fitted, set up, and adjusted in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
The person carrying out the work must ensure that the installation meets appropriate safety standards and that all warnings and cautions in the manufacturer’s manual are followed.
Adjustment of ignition timing, and ensuring it remains within safe parameters for the specific engine, is the responsibility of the installer or owner. This applies even to non-adjustable ignition systems, as engine performance may be affected by factors such as fuel type or quality, carburation settings, model variations, or prior modifications not apparent to the company.
Any fitting guides supplied by Powder Mill Electronics Ltd are intended to complement, not replace, the official manufacturer’s workshop manual. It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct technical data is used and that all safety information provided by the manufacturer is observed.
If any product is modified, incorrectly installed, adjusted, misused, or operated outside its intended design or application, the warranty will be invalidated. Powder Mill Electronics Ltd accepts no liability for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from such misuse or unauthorised modification or use with a part, assembly or system that has been modified from its original specification. Customers who choose to modify their machines do so entirely at their own risk.

Specifications
Powder Mill Electronics Ltd makes every effort to ensure that all descriptions, specifications, and application information provided are accurate. However, the company cannot guarantee that all information is error-free, complete, or applicable in every case.
Powder Mill Electronics Ltd is not affiliated with any original motorcycle manufacturer and does not have direct access to OEM parts data. Consequently, some variations in fitment information may occur. The company accepts no responsibility for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in product descriptions or fitment details.
We continually seek to improve our products and expand our range, and therefore reserve the right to change specifications or product details without prior notice. On occasion, products may differ in appearance from those illustrated on our website or in our marketing materials, without affecting function or performance.
Part Descriptions
To assist customers in identifying products correctly, the following terms are used throughout our website and documentation:
Original Equipment (OE): Parts supplied directly by the motorcycle manufacturer in their original packaging.
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer): Parts produced by the same manufacturer that supplied the motorcycle manufacturer when the vehicle was first built. These are identical in design and quality to OE parts but supplied in the OEM’s own packaging.
Example: PVL HT coils are standard equipment on many Hinckley Triumph motorcycles. A PVL coil purchased from a Triumph dealer and one purchased directly from PVL are the same product.Pattern or Replacement Parts: Parts manufactured by third parties not associated with the original motorcycle manufacturer. These may differ slightly in appearance but are designed to perform the same or a very similar function.
Repairs and Overhauls
All repair work and overhauls are charged based on the actual time spent completing the work, at the company’s current hourly rate.
Where a fixed-price repair or service is offered, this is conditional upon the basic structure and components of the item being in a serviceable condition. Powder Mill Electronics Ltd reserves the right to decline or suspend any fixed-price repair if, upon inspection, the item is found to require work or replacement parts beyond the normal repair scope. In such cases, the customer will be contacted to discuss the findings and to authorise any additional work or revised costs before proceeding.
Any person refitting a repaired or replacement stator, generator, or similar rotating assembly must be a trained and experienced individual capable of carrying out the work safely and correctly. It is their responsibility to ensure that the running clearance between stationary and rotating parts is checked and confirmed before operating the engine.
Powder Mill Electronics Ltd accepts no liability for damage caused by forceful assembly, incorrect installation, or operation with insufficient clearance. Such damage is not covered by either the company’s warranty or statutory warranty provisions.
In the absence of specific manufacturer data, a clearance of 0.2–0.8 mm should be maintained between stationary and rotating components. The installer is solely responsible for ensuring correct assembly and clearance prior to operation.
Only technicians trained and authorised by Powder Mill Electronics Ltd are qualified to test, repair, or modify our products. Certain diagnostic or test procedures listed in OEM service manuals may not apply to our designs. If any product is found to have been tampered with, tested, or repaired by an unauthorised or unqualified person, all warranty will be void.
Items sent to us for testing and declared serviceable are confirmed to be functional at the time of testing only. No warranty or guarantee of continued serviceability is expressed or implied.
Sales, Repairs, and Services
All repair work or overhauls are charged based on the time spent carrying out the work at the current hourly rate.
If we offer a fixed-price repair or service, it is on the condition that the basic structure of the item under repair is sound. We reserve the right to refuse to start or continue with a repair on a fixed-price basis if we find the unit requires work outside the normal repair scope. In such cases we will contact the customer to discuss the issue and any additional work or parts required.
Product Knowledge
Our sales staff have good general product knowledge and can provide guidance on suitable items; however, they may not have in-depth technical experience with every product or application.
