Magneto type bearing used in the drive side of E3A, E3AR, E3AS, E3B, E3BS, E3D, E3E, E3ES & E3MD dynamos, also Lucas SR1 magneto under p/n 189289.

Magneto bearings, also used in dynamos and vintage electric motors consist of a deep groove ball bearing inner ring and an outer ring with only a single shoulder that allows the inner race to be easily installed to the outer race.

They are ideally suited to low load, high speed applications and are often used in a pair, with the open sides of the races facing each other.
